A blade that
remembers the fire.
Every churi is hammered from high-carbon steel, tempered by hand, and honed to an edge that outlasts the kitchens it works in. Three generations of blacksmiths behind every cut.
Four fires, one blade.
Nothing about a churi is cast or stamped. Each blade passes through the same four stages our workshop has used since 1978 — slower than a factory, sharper because of it.
Struck by hand
A billet of high-carbon steel is heated past 900°C and hammered into shape on an anvil, folding the grain for strength.
Quenched and set
The blade is quenched in oil, then slow-tempered to relieve stress — the step that decides whether an edge lasts a year or a lifetime.
Ground to an edge
Whetstones of four grits shape the bevel by hand, finishing at an edge fine enough to shave the arm hair off our sharpeners.
Fitted and balanced
A sheesham wood handle is riveted on and hand-balanced so the blade's weight sits exactly where your grip expects it.
Pick your churi.
Six shapes, each ground for a different job in the kitchen. Every knife ships with a leather edge guard and a sharpening card.
Built to be sharpened, not replaced.
Most kitchen knives are designed to be thrown away. High-carbon steel means yours is designed to be sharpened for the next twenty years instead.
Holds an edge longer
High-carbon steel takes a finer edge than stainless and keeps it through far more cuts before it needs honing.
Free lifetime sharpening
Bring any churi back to our Khulna workshop, any year, and we'll re-hone the edge at no charge.
Made to be inherited
A well-kept churi outlives its first owner. Ours are built with that in mind, not next quarter's sales.
Delivered nationwide
Cash-on-delivery across Bangladesh, wrapped in a protective sheath, usually within 3–5 working days.
Quenched in oil, by hand
No industrial furnace batches. Each blade is quenched and tempered individually and checked for hardness.

Add a name or a short message to the spine — a common request for wedding and housewarming gifts.
What people say after the first cut.
"I've bought knives at three times the price that didn't hold an edge like this one. My chef's churi is still the sharpest thing in my kitchen a year later."
"Ordered the boti for my mother — the balance and the handle grip made her switch back from her old one immediately. Delivery was fast too."
"The engraved gift set was a hit at my sister's wedding shower. Real craftsmanship — you can tell it's forged, not stamped out of a factory line."
